Medjugorje Highlights of the Balkans Tour

Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, and  Bosnia & Herzegovina


Day 01 / Departure Manila (-/-/-) . Depart Manila for your flight to Vienna, the capital city of Austria. Enjoy in-flight amenities while on board.

Day 02 / Vienna, Austria (-/L/D). Welcome to Vienna! Meet and greet by your Tour Manager then board your coach and indulge in the Vienna City Tour. During this tour you will see some of the main historical sights of Vienna. We will take you down the Ringstrasse, show you the MAK, State Opera House, the spectacular Museum of Fine Arts, the Natural History Museum, the Museum Quarter, The Hofburg, the Parliament, the City Hall, the Burgtheater as well as the Belvedere. Have a visit inside Schönbrunn Palaces. Afterwards we will have our lunch in a nice local restaurant then we will take you to Pandorf Designer Outlet and have your free time for shopping. In the evening, transfer to hotel for check-in, dinner inside hotel restaurant, and overnight.

Day 03 / Bled – Ljubljana, Slovenia (B/L/D) . Breakfast inside hotel then head towards Lake Bled. Experience Pletna Boat ride to visit the island and Old Church of Assumption of Mary, also known as The Church of Mary the Queen inside it with the walking 99 steps to reach the top of the 14th century church. Ring the wishing bell, return to bled by boat and have lunch along the way. Continue towards Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. Upon arrival, proceed for a panoramic city tour visiting Medieval Castle, City Hall, Cathedral of St. Nicholas, and Triple and Dragon Bridge. Dinner will be in a nice local restaurant. Afterwards proceed to hotel for check-in and overnight.

Day 04 / Postojna, Slovenia – Zagreb, Croatia (B/L/D) Breakfast inside hotel and check-out then proceed to Postojna caves. The jaw-dropping Postojna Cave system, a series of caverns, halls, and passages some 24km long and two million years old, was hollowed out by the Pivka River, which enters temperature of 8°C to 10°C with a humidity of 95%, so a warm jacket and decent shoes are advised. Have lunch then afterwards drive to Zagreb the capital city of Croatia. Croatia is the youngest member of the European Union and Croatia is one of the most developed country in the Balkans. Upon arrival to Zagreb have a city tour visiting the Dolac Bazaar, St. Mark Church, Stone Gate, Pope’s Tower, Ban Josip Jelacic Square, Lotrseak Church, and Mirogoj Park Cemetery. Dinner will be in a nice local restaurant then transfer to hotel for check-in and overnight.

Day 05 / Plitvice – Trojir – Split, Croatia (B/L/D) . Breakfast inside hotel, check-out, and then drive Plitvice Lakes National Park. Plitvice National Park is one of the oldest in Southeast Europe and largest in Croatia. In 1979 it was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register. It was founded in 1949 and is situated in the mountainous karst area of central Croatia, at the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The important north-south road connection, which passes through the national park area, connects the Croatian inland with the Adriatic coastal region. Afterwards drive to Trojir and get a walk in that city which has town underUNESCOWorldHeritagelisted.Walktonextcoastof Adriatic Sea. Later proceed to Split and have a city tour visiting the Diocletian’s Palace on the UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage with Peristyle, Jupiter’s Temple, and the Cathedral. Free time in old town in Split, we will have our dinner before transfer to hotel and overnight.

Day 06 / Dubrovnik, Croatia (B/L/D) . Breakfast inside hotel, check-out, and proceed to Dubrovnik. Exploring will start with the walking tour of the city which is on the UNESCO’s List of Cultural Heritage. This ancient town, surrounded by ramparts and fortresses is a treasure trove of architectural and cultural master pieces, scrupulously preserved over the centuries. Here we will experience Game of Thrones walking tour around the walled city and also try the cable car ride for an even more spectacular view. After that, enjoy a pleasant walk that will take you to the Franciscan Monastery with its 14thcentury pharmacy, which is still operating today, and see other places of interest. Have some free time on your own before we have dinner then transfer to hotel and overnight.

Day 07 / Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina (B/L/D).  Breakfast inside the hotel then check-out and depart to
Medjugorje. Upon arrival proceed for a city tour in Medjugorje. Medjugorje (“between the hills”) has become well known in Bosnia-Hercegovina and the  world, because of six young people who claim to have  seen visions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Beginning on June 24, 1981, the Blessed Mother appeared to, and later told the visionaries, God sent her to our world to help us convert our hearts and lives back to Him. Our  Lady’s call is one of Peace, Love, Faith, Conversion, Prayer, and Fasting. We are each challenged to answer Our Lady’s call to change our lives and hearts back to God. Rest of the day will be for your own private devotion and meditation then transfer to hotel for check- in, dinner, and overnight.

Day 08 / Mostar – Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina / Departure Sarajevo (B/L/-) . Breakfast inside the hotel, check-out, then we will start our day in Mostar. Here see the remains of the Turkish quarter and the reconstruct ion efforts on the 16th century stone bridge, today inscribed on World Heritage List by UNESCO, Muslibegovica House is ideal example of Mostar’s grand houses of the Ottoman period and Karadjoz-bey mosque, considered to be the most beautiful mosque in the region of Herzegovina. Mostar was founded in the 15th century and is stunning in its beauty. The architecture is a precious combination of Turkish ingenuity and Herzegovina’s & Dalmatian workmanship. Afterwards drive to Sarajevo. We will h a ve o u r l u n c h i n t h e c a p i t a l c i t y o f B o s n i a a n d Herzegovina then in the afternoon, we will have a panoramic city tour to Fire of Freedom, Old Library, Kursunlu Medrese, Catholic Churches, Bazaar, Begova Mosque, Sebil, Orthodox Church, and Fatih Mosque. Rest of day spend on free time for last minute shopping and sightseeing until we transfer to airport and end our tour.

Day 09 / Arrival Manila .Home sweet home


  • A non- refundable deposit of USD 500.00 pp plus visa fees is required upon booking and submission of complete documents. (Deposit is refundable only if visa is refused)
  • CANCELLATION FEE: Full Cancellation will be applied to any cancellation made 4weeks before departure
